Reiki changed my life. It's the closest thing to magic I've ever felt and I incorporate it daily into sessions at pilatesmandi.
Reiki is a universal life force energy that flows through all living things and was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900's Japan. Reiki attunements are passed on from masters empowering individuals to tap into their power as pure channels of energy. The healing and balancing energy is transferred by the laying of hands on the body or just slightly above. Most people feel an accelerated relaxation and often experience so much more physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
The studio at pilatesmandi is a Reiki-charged sacred space that provides a feeling of safety and freedom to workout, rehabilitate, explore, and heal. All sessions finish with a few minutes of Reiki relaxation which is both integrative and restorative after exercise. It's been such a pleasure to introduce Reiki to so many people who had no prior knowledge or experience with it and now most clients request a significant part of their session be reserved for Reiki.

It's an honor to have peoples' trust and openness during sessions and to witness transformation on any level is quite beautiful. So often I see people walk in one way and leave another be it, lighter, softer, smiling, taller, more confident, more articulate, pain-free, relaxed, recharged, happier, braver, determined and balanced.
I've always had an affinity for the ethereal and always knew there were benevolent forces beyond my eyes. Reiki has helped me accept and harness my clairsentience, transmuting it into one of my greatest gifts after being a misunderstood burden for far too long. Tapping into the ability to heal myself and help facilitate healing in others is quite possibly my greatest discovery. I look forward to sharing it with you.
